How you get text back

Right-click inside any text box and choose "Restore last draft". That is the main path, and it is completely deterministic: you ask, it puts the text back.

There is one automatic offer, and it is deliberately narrow. A small card appears only when the page was reloaded or restored with the back button, a saved draft exists for that exact field, the field is empty now, and no successful submit was recorded for it.

Why the offer is so narrow

An empty text box has two possible meanings. Either the page lost your text, or you cleared it on purpose. Only the combination above resolves that ambiguity, and guessing anywhere else would mean nagging you after a message you already sent successfully. That is precisely the failure this extension exists to prevent, so it does not guess.

What it refuses to remember

Passwords, card numbers, CVV and security codes, one-time and two factor codes, API keys, private keys, seed phrases, national ID numbers, passport and licence numbers, bank routing, IBAN and account numbers, dates of birth and tax IDs.

These are excluded by input type, by autocomplete hint, and by name, id, label and placeholder text, so a card number sitting in a plain text input is still refused. Text shorter than 25 characters is not stored either, because losing it costs nothing.

Permissions

Storage, and reads the text boxes you type in. Everything is kept in your own browser profile. There is no server, no sync and no network request of any kind.
